Ed Goodacre

Hi, thanks for visiting my website.

Here is a little bit about me: I was born and raised in the Yorkshire Dales in the north of England, but in 2011 I decided to leave Yorkshire and head to New Zealand to look for work / enjoy the 2011 Rugby World Cup! I am still here in Wellington to this day.

I graduated university in 2008 with a 2.1 BSC Hons degree in New Media. I then worked as a designer within the travel industry before moving to New Zealand in 2011. I have worked as an in-house designer, agency designer and now as a freelance graphic designer. I now have over 13 years industry experience.

Since setting up my own business and becoming a freelance designer in 2015 I have worked for a wide range of New Zealand and Australian companies.

Design clients: The Hurricanes, Wellington Lions, New Zealand Rugby / All Blacks, Wellington Rugby Football Union, Make A Wish Foundation NZ, Black Dog Brewery, Tui Brewery, Monteith's Brewery, The Neonatal Trust, The New Zealand Fire Service, Mexicano Corn Chips, DSV, Redican Allwood Construction, Pacific Doors, TotalPak, Graphic Lamination and Coatings, Liam and Gabby, oobe a Fujitsu company and many more.

These projects utilised my skills in branding, print design, packaging and animation.

Photography clients: Hurricanes, FitBites

Other companies I have worked for during my time at an agency include: The Health Promotion Agency, TAB, New Zealand Racing Board, Wellington Phoenix, Police Credit Union, Statistics New Zealand, Surf Life Saving and Seafood New Zealand. Aside from graphic design I have a passion for wildlife and landscape photography, you can view my photography here, or follow me on Instagram.
